Snow in the Deep South

Living in the deep south, we do not get experience snow. However, this morning a few flurries fell and the kids were SOOOO excited.

It melted as soon as it hit the ground, but they had fun watching the little flurries fall.

They tried to catch them with their tongue.

Maybe one day soon, we will get to see and play in several inches of snow. But for these southern born and raised children, these few flurries were good enough..at least for now.

That is so cute...the kids enjoying the flurries! When I was teaching 4th grade in VA, my kids were like that too. One day it started snowing while we were at school...no much of course. WE all had to go outside and the kids just loved running around in the snow.
