We did and because we were on vacation, we were able to get all 6 of us in the picture!

Movies with the Cousins

Being a family of 6, we do not go to the movies very often. Honestly, it is only during the summer when they have $2 movies which includes popcorn and a drink!

We were so excited when we heard about a FREE movie day including popcorn and drinks - the only cost being canned food for our local food bank! It was wonderful to be on a Saturday morning which allowed daddy to come along too!

My sister and her kids also went so the kids were able to see their cousins too!

Fun times - Great memories - isn't that what life is about???

Camp Fire

One of our favorite things to do especially in the fall is have a bonfire. Fun times...great memories!

NPF Fair 2012

This year we took a family picture at the NPF Fair. We had a great time...lots of great memories and wonderful traditions!

World of Coke 2012

We don't often get a family picture so I was thrilled to get this one. Their were several employees in the foyer who volunteered to take our family picture! How great is that!

They gave us a bottle of coke to take home. These were actually bottled there at the World of Coke.

I am so glad we got the chance to go...we had such a nice fun,family day!

Scot had the day off so we had a picnic at the park. Love family time!

First Day of School

The 2012-2013 school year started today!

Geocaching...Summer Fun!

Spending time with friends is the best way to spend our summers!

We went geocaching with the T family early one morning before it got too hot. This is the kids in front of our local KK peanut. There was a geocache there (which was MIA) and also a breakfast treat!!!! Fun times...oh how I love summer!

Patriotic Picnic

Every year our small town holds a Patriotic concert on the square. It is such a wonderful evening sharing a picnic with friends while listening to a local orchestra play patriotic songs. I just love our small town!!!!

Blueberries

We met the nicest man at our small town's Blueberry Festival on Saturday. He graciously said we could go a pick as many blueberries as we would like from his bushes because he had gotten all he wanted. We jumped at the opportunity and went together as a family to pick us some blueberries!

There were so many left on the bushes, it was amazing! We picked a five gallon bucket full plus a small basket that we shared with some friends.

The berries were perfect so sweet and delicious.

We frozen 4 gallon size bags and about 17 or so quart size bags. What a blessing it was for us to be able to put up so many bags to use through out the year!

Christmas Night 2011

Christmas night we had a huge bonfire at our house. All of our family had come over in the afternoon and we ate, played  games, and then had the bonfire.

We shot fireworks,

played with sparklers

and just sat around and talked. It was SO much fun!

One of the other things we did was this.

I told Cara I wanted to try to take pics of her doing Lincoln's name with the sparklers. I think it turned out pretty cool, don't you?

Christmas Parade

Yesterday was a busy day for us. It was Scot's birthday and the wedding of one of my cousin's. We did however, manage to squeeze in our small town's Christmas Parade. It is something the kids look forward to every year!
